Arsenal's July loadout tier list, after the recoil rework
The recent recoil rework in Arsenal hit automatic weapons harder than single-fire ones, which has meaningfully changed close-range duels. Weapons that were middling two patches ago are now genuinely strong picks in the right hands.
Shotguns remain largely untouched and stay near the top for corner-heavy maps, while burst weapons have crept up the rankings thanks to their more forgiving spray pattern under the new recoil curve.
The biggest faller is the game's classic full-auto rifle, which used to be a safe default pick and now requires active recoil control to compete — a change that's split the community fairly evenly between 'finally balanced' and 'unnecessary nerf.'
